Questions

Mobile Physio & Kinesiology FAQ

Where do you offer mobile physiotherapy?

We visit homes, retirement and care homes, workplaces, gyms, parks and sports teams in Langley City and the Township of Langley, including Willoughby, Walnut Grove, Murrayville, Brookswood, Fort Langley and Aldergrove, plus Cloverdale and Clayton Heights in Surrey. We consider other areas case by case, so call and ask.

Who provides mobile visits?

Our registered physiotherapist Sagar Matharu and our kinesiologist Harman Bains. Harman also speaks Punjabi.

Does ICBC cover mobile physiotherapy?

For eligible ICBC claims, ICBC's fee schedule includes in-home physiotherapy, and travel time and mileage for physiotherapy and kinesiology. We bill ICBC directly. Have your claim number ready when you book.

Will my extended health plan cover a mobile visit?

Most extended health plans cover physiotherapy and many cover kinesiology, but plans differ on travel fees. We'll tell you the full cost before your first visit, and you can check your plan.

Can a family member book for me?

Yes. A family member or caregiver can book and can be there during the visit if you'd like.

What's the difference between mobile physio and mobile kinesiology?

Physiotherapy assesses and treats injuries and pain with hands-on care and exercise. Kinesiology coaches exercise to rebuild strength, balance and confidence. Many patients start with physio and add kinesiology.

Can I switch to the clinic later?

Yes. Many patients start at home and move to our Langley City clinic and gym when they're ready, with the same practitioners and the same plan.

Do I need a referral?

No. You can book directly. Some extended health plans ask for a doctor's note before they reimburse, so check your plan if you're claiming.
